What this tool does
It formats JWT header and payload JSON and converts numeric exp and iat claims to UTC dates.
How to use it
- Paste a JWT.
- Select Decode JWT.
- Review and copy the header or payload; verify signatures in your trusted application.
Decoding and expiration
JWT segments use Base64URL. exp and iat are interpreted as NumericDate seconds. Expiration compares exp with the current browser time.
Limits and privacy
This tool never validates signatures, issuer, audience, or permissions. Treat decoded data as untrusted text.
