Image Converter & Resizer
Resize, convert, and optionally auto-adjust PNG, JPEG, and WebP images locally.
What this tool does
Prepare one image for sharing by resizing it, converting its format, optionally applying a restrained automatic brightness and contrast adjustment, and re-encoding it without copying source EXIF, GPS, or XMP metadata.
How to use it
- Choose an image; its displayed pixel dimensions become the initial width and height.
- Choose the dimensions, format, quality when available, and whether to use Auto adjust.
- Create the image, compare the original and output, and download the result.
Processing details
Browser image decoding and Canvas encoding produce PNG, JPEG, or WebP. The tool does not enlarge the image. JPEG fills transparent pixels with white. Quality applies only to JPEG and WebP. Auto adjust uses one bounded luminance-derived tone curve rather than per-channel white balance.
Limits and privacy
Re-encoding can change visual quality and may increase file size, so this tool does not guarantee compression or Photoshop-identical adjustment. Files are limited to 15 MiB, 16,384 pixels per side, and 40 megapixels. Source animation, EXIF, GPS, XMP, and color profiles are not preserved. Nothing is uploaded.
