DNS Lookup

Check public DNS records and website IP addresses for a domain.

Enter a domain, not a URL. Internationalized domains are converted to punycode.

What this tool does

It checks a domain's addresses, aliases, mail routing, published text, and name servers through A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and NS records.

How to use it

  1. Enter a domain name without https:// or a path.
  2. Select Look up DNS.
  3. Review each record type and copy the value you need.

How results are determined

A and AAAA contain IPv4 and IPv6 addresses; CNAME names an alias target; MX routes email; TXT publishes text such as policy or verification values; and NS names the authoritative DNS servers. AppBoya asks its server resolver for each type. CNAME shows the final canonical target, not every intermediate hop. MX priority 0 with target . means the domain accepts no email. TTL and resolver identity are unavailable, and the checked time is UTC.

Limits and privacy

Only public domain names are accepted. Private IP addresses are hidden. Results are limited to 20 per type and long values are marked when shortened. Recent complete results are reused for up to 5 seconds in this tab and may already be stale. DNS alone does not prove website reachability, domain ownership, or the origin server behind a proxy or CDN. A missing record does not prove a domain is unusable. Queries are not stored by AppBoya.
